Enter dates in the form "YYYY-MM-DD"When a "circa" date has been used in the "Image Date" field, enter a 10-year range (5 years earlier and 5 years later) around your guessed date. For "ca. 1934" (in the Image Date field), enter "1929-1939" (no spaces between the dates and the dash). (CONTENTdm will translate that range into "1929 1930 1931 ... etc." so a user will find the image if they search for any of the included dates.)

Date that original item was created. Use as exact a date as is
possible, including the month and day, if known.
Enter dates in standard U.S. format, e.g. "January 5, 1991" or "January 1991". For older images, if the exact date is not know but you can make a pretty good guess for the date, use a "circa" date, e.g. "ca. 1934" or "ca. 1890." If you cannot make a relatively good guess, you may leave the field blank (but you should try to guess a date). |

| Electronic Publication Date | Date when image was digitized. Enter dates in the form "YYYY-MM-DD".
At a minimum, the year is required.

[Host] for entity responsible for hosting on the Web. Add
each appropriate contributing institution followed by a semi-colon.

| Audience | Original intended audience of the resource. This element is useful for describing educational materials. Using it facilitates access to digital materials that are especially suited for use in student research and projects. Possible labels: juvenile, elementary school, middle school, high school. Also, for specialized disciplines (artists, economists, scientists, etc.); distinct cultural communities (native peoples, ethnic groups, linguistic groups, etc.); age groups; impairments (vision, hearing, dyslexia, literacy, etc.), and others. | |
