Nevada Sculpture Artist Yolande Jacobson Sheppard poses with members of the family of Senator Pat McCarran, including the Senator's widow (seated) and daughter, Sister Mary Mercy as well as Nevada Senator Alan Bible. Yolande Jacobson Sheppard was a sculpture artist whose work has been exhibited in many art shows, museums, and universities although she was not as well known as her husband, Art Professor and renowned artist, Craig Sheppard. One of her more well-known works was a bronze statue of Nevada Senator Patrick Anthony McCarran created for the National Statuary Hall collection in Washington, D.C.
